FIVE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON
OUTDOOR LED DISPLAYS
This is a limited warranty against any defects in material and workmanship. The warranty begins immediately on the date of acceptance of the goods. The Manufacturer has the right to replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of the same type and size when Manufacturer deems necessary. The customer is responsible for the removal of the old EMC sign and the installation of the replaced product. On-site labor is covered for the first 12 months if determined that the failure is caused by a faulty part. Laptops and wireless systems have a 90 day warranty. Included in this warranty is our 10 year parts availability guarantee.
Limitations on Warranty and Technical Support
Warranty is void in the event of any of the following conditions causing the damage or failure of the EMC:
- Negligence, abuse, misuse, acts of Nature, fire, lightning, power surge, smoke, saltwater incursion, floods, water abuse, hail damage, vandalism, accident-related occurrences, any structural or electrical modifications or has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with instructions provided by Manufacturer and the National Electrical Codes.
- Manufacturer reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, the legitimacy of the warranty request based on all information available.
- Manufacturer’s liability is specifically limited to repair or replacement of the defective components during the warranty period. Under no circumstances shall Manufacturer be responsible or held liable for any damages including, but not limited to, loss of income, consequential or incidental damages regardless of the nature of the claim, including delays or defaults of its obligations under this warranty.
- If any serial numbers, warranty dates or quality assurance labels or decals have been removed or altered or cannot be identified by Manufacturer, it will cause the warranty to be voided.
- Warranty period for replaced or repaired parts shall apply for the remainder of the original EMC warranty period.
- Manufacturer does not warrant that the operation of any EMC product will be uninterrupted or error free.
- The customer is required to cooperate with the customer support technician when attempting to resolve a problem over the telephone or internet. This may involve performing routine diagnostic procedures, installing software updates or patches, removing third party software or network configurations. Internet accessibility to your EMC sign may be required in order to receive technical assistance.
- The Manufacturer’s warranty does not provide for additional software training, programming or set-up after 45 days of installation. - Manufacturer does not offer support for third party programs or configurations.
- This warranty may not be transferred to another owner without written approval by Manufacturer.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE WHEN REQUESTING ASSISTANCE WITH THE ELECTRONIC MESSAGE CENTER PRODUCT
- Name of business and location of the product
- Serial number of product
- Date of product installation
- Your contact information (include your e-mail address).
- Type of computer at the product location
- Access to the internet (Required)
- Describe the problem or incident, in detail, related to the malfunction of the product.
- Provide video pictures or still photographs if requested.
Upon receiving notification by the customer of a problem with the EMC Sign, a technician will attempt to troubleshoot and solve the problem. If it’s determined the problem can be solved by providing the customer with the necessary parts, Surefire Sign will supply those parts and the customer will be responsible for any on-site labor required to replace the parts after 12 months of service. Customer must provide access to the sign site and will be responsible for any air lift charges. The customer must return the defective parts to Surefire Sign within 30 days or the customer will be responsible for the cost of the replacement parts. A CREDIT CARD SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED. When the defective parts are received at Surefire Sign, the credit card security deposit will be voided by Surefire Sign Inc..
